  We just moved into our new A&J home April 2013. They did an excellent job. Two items of concern: 1. We lived out of town during the process and communication was not very good. Hard to get questions answered or concerns addressed. They promise to improve that in the future. 2. We have been in 5 months and still have a punch list of items identified from our move in walk thru plus additional items identified at 3 months. They keep thanking me for my patience and promise to get someone on it as soon as they hire someone. It has been frustrating. I would probably give them 5 stars if they could improve the above 2 concerns. 11/19/2013 We have now been in 7 months. Most of the items on our punch list have been completed. Still waiting on 2 items. Communications has not improved.

  DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER!! This builder did a terrible job on our home. Delay after delay after delay. Repeatedly not following the plans. Walls in the wrong places, doors framed in at the wrong places. Terrible communication. We were supposed to get calls each Monday with updates - none, not one. Their response to why we were not getting calls, even though it was written into the AJ book as part of our contract: " we don't do that anymore." Failure to supervise the site properly. They delivered and started to install the wrong color roof. When we pointed it out to them, they stopped working on our house entirely for 5 weeks. Not just stopped working on the roof, stopped working on everything, for 5 weeks. We moved in and the septic system didn't work. We have lived in our home over two months and still have trades which need to finish - including electrical.
